1987 | The Seventh-day Adventist Church filed legal action in a federal District Court in California against SDA Kinship for trademark infringement. The lawsuit sought to bar us from using “Seventh-day Adventist” in our name. In 1991 SDA Kinship won the lawsuit. Read our press release from October 1991 here.
