What Specific Information Does SDA Kinship Collect?
The information we collect includes, but is not limited to your name, date of birth, mailing address, email address, phone number, language(s) spoken, denominational affiliation, self-identified orientation, gender, relationship status and more.

By logging into the Members Area you can access all your personally identifiable information that we collect online and maintain. There, you can view or edit your profile.

Our Commitment to Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. The information we collect from members is confidential and is used by SDA Kinship’s office and regional leaders only. Information collected or submitted on the SDA Kinship website in the purchase of products, in the registration for events and more is not shared with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order.

How We Share Your Information
Information is shared with regional leaders for contacting the member to welcome them, inform them of what is offered in the demographic that they fit in and to provide ways of allowing the member to connect with others in the community. This includes connecting the member (with their permission) to secret Facebook and WhatsApp groups.

Our Commitment to Securing Your Data
To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

This includes, but is not limited to:
• The use of the SecureLive SCAN engine that monitors all connection requests made to our site. 
The use of Akeeba Admin Tools that adds another layer of security for administrator access, constantly monitoring our files for changes.
Security Certificate with GoDaddy that provides SSL security for member logins and any other transactions including, but not limited to donations and event registration.

Right to be Forgotten
Any member can request the deletion of their account and/or any identifiable information at any time by sending an email to info@sdakinship.org. SDA Kinship will comply with any delete requests within 30 days.
