Kinship in Latin America
The Kinship Latin America is a community of current and former Adventist LGBTQIA+ individuals and their families and friends, who live or come from countries where the native language is Spanish, Portuguese, and in some countries, French. This group within Kinship supports our members in many countries and has diverse needs and cultures.
We are LGBTIQ people who have learned or are learning to affirm our identities and to reconcile them with our faith journeys, while experiencing life in a community where we can be fully authentic, accepted and safe.
You can believe the Bible and welcome the LGBTQ community
The book UnClobber shines a new light on the texts that are typically used by people to condemn LGBTQ people. Kinship is currently sponsoring an outreach project to send 2,500 copies to SDA pastors and church leaders to help improve the conversation around LGBTQ issues in SDA communities.
