Kinship
Region 8
Northern California, Hawaii and Nevada
This vibrant Kinship group has most of its
activities in the Bay Area and Sacramento,
meeting the third Saturday of each month for
regional meetings, and regularly for a wide
range of activities. Although members live as
far south as Bakersfield and as far north as
the California-Oregon border, members are
connected through the Region 8 News and
Views, a regional newsletter which is published
monthly. Through a Yahoo Group
members can connect daily or as often as
members wish! Our members include active
church members, former members of the
church, spouses of Adventists and just
friends. Whether it is attending church together,
going to museums, art shows, movies,
concerts, or camping in the Sierra, this
group is well-connected and enthusiastic.

•  October 25, 3:00 PM – Combined Region 8 and Sacramento Chapter meeting. Plan to attend, especially if you live in or near Sacramento, and help select a new Chapter leader. |

• November 15 – Open (if you would like to host this meeting, contact Obed). |

• December 20 – Holiday party and gift exchange. Location TBD. |
| |
• January 17 – Regional meeting in San Francisco. Great way to start the New Year! |

February 21 – Another Sacramento meeting a week after Valentine’s. Don’t miss this romantic occasion. |
